OC evening

An OC evening programme planned and run by the boys… a memorable one for the officers.. for half the time, the officers are trying to figure out what the boys are up to….

maybe this is what we called “generation gap”…..

We started off with friendly soccer match with alumini in the morning…

17.jpg

Mr Ng… our score player to the rescue.. he must be the Man of the match (having scored 2 goals for our boys and suffered a sprain back.. poor thing!)

 21.jpg

Vikiram – our talent goal-keeper

31.jpg

Navin… to the rescue

41.jpg

Lots of action… what’s the final score again? Can’t remember who won? Was it 6-6?

51.jpg

It was really hot and i was trying to drive home the point…. with my shadow (cool, don’t you think so?)

Following awards doing First Aid…. the boys started preparing for BBQ.. while some are engrossed in games..

We had curry, sotong balls and sauages (But, didn’t i recall us having these for lunch?)

Of course, we also had boys who were superheros.. they used their eyes and mouths most of the time, while trying to look really cool.. haha

This is usually what happens at a BB camp, when we have too much food! Swallow it boys, it’s an ORDER!

19.jpg

Some of them are happy with take-aways…

Then came the “don’t know-what-is-happening” nite…

BQ 2007 and our New found Talents

Our boys spent the night cramming for Bible Quiz. The officers were terribly disappointed with their attendance. Out of 4 teams who were supposed to participate, only 2 turned up. In addition, they came unprepared, no consent forms, no name tags, long hair, no fatigue dress etc. Compared to 44th and 34th boys who studied and were more prepared and disciplined, we have lots to learn from them.

Nevertheless, we mug and mug….

Now i know, there’s more inspiration under the boards.

Fully engaged Siling boys

3.jpg

there’s our boys, feelind the heat from competition….

All work and no play makes us dull…. guess who’s butt is that?!

7.jpg

66th BQ teams (guess why Jun Lin’s touching his forehead?)

Answer: He despises Mdm Mavis’ Kimage (David kan trained) skills.

9.jpg

Though we won nothing or no hopes to win anything, but we have new found talents – acrobatics.

10.jpg

See, not just one, but we have two talents!

11.jpg

At the amazement of many other coys…

12.jpg

If we need a troupe and lack people, we can import from 34th!

13.jpg

The master – Yu Wee’s the best! Hahaha

(Could this be used for our BB recruitment poster for 2008?)

14.jpg

Yu Wee has yet to master this… maybe Indons have softer bones….

 15.jpg

Yes Budi, you’ve made it!

(I should sent this pic to Mediacorp for “Hey Gorgeous!” programme, you might find urself a heap of fans or a wife!)

16.jpg

Poor Octovan, he’s very tired, maybe from trying to audition for our acrobatics team who suffered leg cramps after that… poor thing!

Nevertheless, as always, God looked upon our boys and kept watch over them. I’m sure all of them had great fun!
