Combined Games Day
It was a great event….. our boys really went all out and played their hearts out… it was many great games…. they had fun! I guess soccer was something that’s very US……

there you go, Navindran to the rescue... Can you see who's right at the corner? *hint hint* he's hardly in pictures....=P

The 66TH Team!!! Unanimously, everyone felt yonglin deserved to receive the prize for the team.... oh yea, you did excellently well boy!
yea, actually we did not quite win. We only won in the boys category, not with the old forgies…

And once again, our very own 66th soccer team... check out Gab, our camera whore trying to steal a shot.. he succeeded....
Well, we wanted to see if we could set up and sustain a boys’ primers’ soccer team. Maybe its time to start recruiting.. and we nominate Sir Chee Leong to head it… (though we’ll forgive him for betraying us when we play against 44th again) – so who’s up for being in 66th Primer’s soccer team!! sound good…
Oh yes boys, we remembered you. They are so sweet – they wanted to name themselves “Honda Fit”, after Gab remembered my wish was to get a red Fit… so sweet!! That made me feel i’m always part of all of you – nice!
Love you guys!! Thanks guys… i think you all stuck to 66th Dreamz Team? =P

Long awaited – OC Evening Bowling
Dear boys,
I realised the last post was in July. Long time ago, as I scanned through my pictures, I have so little photos this year, many reasons, H1N1, myself not being able to be around and generally, not too many activities.
Anyway, here’s OC evening bowling pictures. Of which i’m trying to figure out what happened….

Totally Evident Mass chaos

Novices trying to act like amateurs

- Strategizing?

I must, I must.... STRIKE!!!

fter some time... a few rounds.... (*hint* look CLEARLY at CSM's SCORE) hahahha

Even if i cannot bowl, I must learn to look good!

The impressive flying pose... wonder where the ball headed next..

- Check out the scores!! We really lived up to Club 66th’s name! haha

Energy is fuel. Food is fuel!

Let me strike man!

Let me strike man!

Sir Harry: Amazed? Shocked?

- Striking a goal….

Let's see.. make sure the ball doesn't get into my lane!!!!

Time to announce..... (the zero-pin collector?)

Is this our best bowler for the day?
Charlie’s 1st Squad Outing
In lieu of H1N1, we had our 1st squad outing… I didnt even know I had a squad… but Charlie will be priviledged!! hahaha…
It was great time bonding with my squad, though only 1/3 turned up… good choice, Seoul Garden.. wonder if they will bar Babu from going in next time. I think he ATE 3 COWs, 5 CHICKENS that night!!

The sin of gluttony

Rose among the thorns...indeed!

Then we found out it was Jun Yang's birthday! So we celebrated for him.... This was the special birthday brownie and ice-cream I put together for him...

My boys went crazy!!! Indeed they were... hahaha

See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil....

Surely they are God-sent, to relieve my stress in life and a cure of nicer and stronger abs... hahaa.. it's real fun hanging out with them. Indeed the spirit of Charlie speaks from its squad leader, the spirit of "nonsense"!
Finally, some snapshots of what I termed as squad conversation…. or rather… “rubbish”… haha

Father’s Day
I’ll post more pictures of drill camp soon. But this is something i’ll like to share…
It was Father’s Day during LDC1 and Drill camp. We were to break camp in the evening, that means not too much time to spend with Dad, the officers wanted to break camp earlier, so that all of you could spend the special day with Dad. However, we had to stick to the original programme and hence left it as it is.
Well, Sir did remind you to wish your dad a Happy Father’s Day. Did you? I guess some of you do have a great relationship with your dad, but perhaps some of you may not share that same bond with your father. Perhaps for some of you, Dad was never in existence, for some of you, Dad was special, but he has left you. Well, we do have our fair share of relationships, good or bad. But whatever the case, family is something we cannot choose. We cannot choose the kind of parents or siblings we want, like the way we choose our friends, however, we can choose the way we treat them.
Well, I never shared a close relationship with my dad. There are many characteristics of him which I dislike. Though I know Dad does love me, perhaps in a way he never showed or did not know how to portray, but it was hard to comprehend and communicate with him. I often thought to myself, if i had my own kids, I’ll never want to be the parents, at least my dad was to me. Perhaps I did not understand him or perhaps he didn’t try hard enough. Sometimes it is hard to love him the way I should. I’m not perfect, and I’m struggling in every aspect to relate and respect the earthly father God has given me.
But whatever I did not find in him, I found in God. Through Jesus, we have access to the holy God whom we could relate to Him as Father.
The bible records for us in Galations 3,
6Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” 7So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.”
Well, who is God to you? Is He just someone we go to when we need help or meet a big problem or crisis? To me, He’s God, Master and the perfect father I never had, but now possess forever. He is my King.
Who is God? God is King.
The final result… Well done boys!!!
Our Sec 1 Drill Com champion… guess who?….
Well, under Sir Kian Peng, no mercy… the boys are visibly terrified.. haha.. well, no sweat boys, there’s still Drill Camp Stage 2
The result.. Part 1
After two days of drill camp, interested to know how our boys fare? Drill down competition Part One….
Preview of Drill Camp….
Here’s a preview of how our boys are being tortured… hahaa..
